Ocean Waitokia

Ocean has won an impressive array of country music awards over the years.

She has long held the dream of going to Tamworth, in Australia, so winning at Gold Guitars in 2019 was the ultimate.

Ocean has a broad vocal range which allows her to sing many styles.

Her ability to yodel has led to being invited to Germany 2015 for their Superkids Talent Quest and to appearances on New Zealand television shows.

Ocean was part of the New Zealand team in 2017 that went to World Championships of Performing Arts Los Angeles.

Ocean embraces anything and everything musical.

In 2019 she formed a band, which won sections at Smokefree Song Quest.

She is writing and performing her own songs and has received excellence for music awards from college.
